Anyone that knows me knows that I am a DIE HARD UGK fan. They made being from Texas cool and showed everybody what hip hop meant to us in the South. UGK came out hard with their own sound, slang, and swag that people gravitated too and those country rap tunes became anthems for us. We showed our gratitude by jammin " Good Stuff", "Tell Me Something Good" and other CLASSICS on Sunday afternoons @ our neighborhood parks, turning corners while swanging and banging down the block, or hotboxing in the homie's Caprice. I know Bun B will carry the torch now that Pimp C has passed, but to know that this is the last collaboration from the GREATEST rap duo this world has ever seen is too bittersweet for me. Go get the last album, UGK 4 LIFE, roll up a sweet or pour up some drank and pay homage to one of the last real groups in the game.
RIP PIMP C.
