Last time I talked about King James going to the Heat to join 1/5 of the Gold Medalist Redeem Team. I cant wait to see the Lakers vs. Heat Finals with Phil Jackson vs. Pat Riley and Kobe's hardest test for 6 Rings like you know who?!?! Ya'll remember I called this prediction out. But real talk, nothing else is really happening in sports. Sorry, I don't watch Baseball until October. ESPN is so lame right now. Same ol' Brett Favre returning or retiring bullshit. Tiger hasn't won yet, so golf is wack right now too. Micheal Vick almost gets in trouble, again. A-Rod suck on 599 homeruns trying to get to 600. Hard Knocks with The Jets hasn't started on HBO, yet. Fat Albert Haynesworth keeps failing his fitness test. N.F.L. Training camp injuries & greedy players holding out for more money... If I didnt have my Sunday Night HBO Line-up, I wouldn't have nothing to watch on T.V. The most exciting thing that is happening sports related is Madden 11 drops on Tuesday, August 10th at 12:01am.



So, I'm in My Boom-Boom Room thinking about what to blog tonight, because my Lil' Sis (@Hoodsocalite) been on my ass to write something. The only thing I have done sports related was go to The Alamodome to watch the BEST team in the N.F.L. practice (and everybody in the World knows The COWBOYS are winning the Superbowl at home next year, so that's a boring topic to talk about). Real Quick...Shout Out to San Antone's Own Sam Hard & Felix Jones for signing my Lil' Man's COWBOYS Hat, too. My son, Champ, told me that he plans to do that for little kids when he goes to the League. But that's another story, we can talk about in a few years. Since he's only 7 and still has to go play for the UT Longhorns first! #TrillTalk.

Any way, while I'm on the phone with her talking about her B-Day Party (Its going way down), she reminds me that Bun-B's Album Trill O.G. came out this morning. And let me say this first, so I can be quoted. No matter where you from or how you add it up, Bun-B of U.G.K. is on the Top 5 Rappers of All-Time List! (Dead or Alive.) Its not too many rappers that have been in the game for 20 years and I'm still looking for 16 bars better than Bun's "Murder" verse on the third U.G.K. Album, Ridin Dirty. It ain't our fault that Texas Hip-Hop didn't get major respect until now. Ya'll bad, we been Throwed in the Game! So with that being said let me finsh my blog.

I was at Best Buy at 10am, like a million other U.G.K fans nationwide getting their copy of Bun's third solo project. My cousin @KoolEDotMatrix had to drive to Pasadena from 3rd Ward to get his copy. He told me the other 2 Best Buy's he went to were sold out before 3pm. I was happy to hear that, because this is the Internet Generation and so many people burn music these days. But my Kinfolk wasnt even trippin', because it was Bun-B. And I felt him, because when you're talking about Pimp-C, Bun-B, & everybody of the Screwed Up Click, it bigger than respect or showing love. Because when we were coming up in the early & mid 90's those were the guys that made it cool to be from TEXAS! It felt like we finally got our identity & swagga.

From Screwed Up Tapes, Jordans, screens, candy paint, woodwheels, swanga's, blades, pop trunk with the neon, creases in the jeans, Barre, gold with diamonds grills, country slang, & a Playa-Made lifestyle. All of that is #TEXASSHIT!!! It was & still so real to be from The Land of The Trill! U.G.K. & S.U.C. gave us a great blueprint of what a TEXAS Boy is suppose to look like, from his talk to his walk. You feel me? So, I hope Bun-B goes platimun & has the Rap Album of the Year. Not only for Pimp-C, but for all the Real TEXAS Boys he helped mentor to Trill TEXAS Men! To the King of the Trill, Thanks Big Homie! #Salute!

So, as a U.G.K. Alumli & a solid member of #TeamTrill on Twitter, I'm glad to agree with so many others that Trill O.G. is a instant Classic! We all know Bun is going to kill every track, but its a complete album. Country Rap Tunes like Pimp-C would have wanted, Talented Features (Pimp-C, 2Pac, Drake, Jezzy,Twista, @SlimThugga, Gucci Mane, Tre' Songs, Yo Gotti, DJ Premire of GangStarr) Thowed Concept, & Great Hip-Hop Production. And in that last 2 years, what Hip -Hop album has had 20 Super Tight Tracks??? I know, it wasn't one, until now. Its a Epic album. So if you don't got it, go get it!
