In 2010, The Museum of Cultural Arts, Houston (MOCAH) will host The Art of Culture Series which is an exhibition and celebration of the visual, culinary, musical and performing arts in Houston. On June 26th, MOCAH will host the The Art of Culture “Hair Impressions” which is a collaboration of some of Houston’s top hair stylists, top product lines, and powerful art pieces at the House of Dereon.

MOCAH will host a “Gallery Talk”, a forum lead by one established and one emerging artist along with two art collectors. MOCAH will also host an art exhibition of several local artists with all artworks focusing on a hair theme. There will be a hair demonstration and the evening will conclude with the sounds and movement of live entertainment by local musical, theatric and dance performers.
